Last night's exhibition at Ambleside Gallery was a beautiful display of the most current and beautiful pastel paintings of our members. Also, as of last night, I am now part of the Ambleside Gallery's stable of promoted artists and my prices have increased because the owner of the Gallery made that happen. What actually happened was I said, "I thought the prices were lower and he just said right back at me, "Do you want me to lower the price?" "I said I guess not".  And then his retort was, "Actually, the price should be doubled."  That took awhile for me to wrap my mind around for sure. I am so grateful for the amazing work I have been able to produce and the great opportunities for success I have had. It is inspiration to keep working everyday doing something that I truly love.
